Description
Scott Douglas PENDERGAST is the Director for Strategic Planning and Partnerships of the Health Emergencies Programme at the World Health Organization (WHO).
Currently responsible for the overall strategy, programme delivery and strategic partner engagement for global health emergencies and humanitarian crises.
He leads the overall strategy and policy to strengthening the global architecture for Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Resilience. He is also the WHO focal point for the Pandemic Fund, for the establishment of the interim coordination on medical countermeasures (MCM), and for the Global Health Emergency Corps (GHEC).
